Turkey hats

What you will need to make these turkey hats;  
yarn in red, yellow, orange, cream and light and dark brown
yarn needle
2 black buttons
5mm crochet hook
scissors

step one make the hat

 

Then i made 2 long feathers and 1 short in each color.  The nose the face and the gobbler..

Lay the hat flat and stitch the long feathers around side by side..

 

Then sew small feathers in front of the large feathers..

attach black buttons nose and gobbler to face and sew into the center of hat..

These hats were so fun to make for my older two and have them wear on thanksgiving they were running all over the place gobble gobble gobbling.. i will post the pattern soon..

Keep your head warm while letting everyone know who your favorite team is. Hats are 100% handmade including the logos so far i have done oakland, pittsburgh, and seattle, i have plans to try out
a pattern for the MT Griz, next week if time allows and also chicagos cubs and bears.

These hats have been selling for $22 child size and $27 adult can be made in any color or size with our with out pom earflaps logo flowers  or braids.

 This particulat one i made for our new pastors daughter who just moved here from seattle so she could keep warm during her first MT winter.,

Baby elf and santa hats

It took me awhile to get this pattern just the way i love it, hats are gonna be super adorable holliday photo props.. pattern will be for sale in a week or two when i get time to write it up.

Sports Hats

 I made the seahawks hat for a little girl that is in my sunday school class whose family just moved from seattle and have not yet had to deal with a MT winter.. I thought it would help her stay warm and cozy and maybe miss her old home a little less.

Everyday since i have signed up for my blog i have done yet another craft and swore i would post about it but have not yet succeeded on that mission so this next week will be crafties and pictures to come.. i hope! but for today i will post the two hats i just finished Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks! patterns to come soon i hope! I am making these hats too sell i can do any team and the starting price is $22 for child size and $27 for adult. #awesome
